I have a basic vocabulary in spoken Mandarin and a reading vocabulary specific to Chinese medicine. I have lived and traveled in Taiwan and China and would like to devote more time to improving my language skills. I would like to spend about 4-6 hours/week with a tutor or in a classroom setting. I'm a complete beginner to the Chinese (Mandarin) language and would like some help with pronunciation and speaking especially. I would like to meet with a tutor one-on-one. I would prefer to meet on the Seattle University campus, which is where I spend most of my days. I can only meet on weekedays afternoon hours, or after 6:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.
I prefer to learn from a native Chinese speaker who has some experience teaching Chinese to an English speaker.
