I have studied Russian approximately 1.5 years, completed 5 of 6 beginner levels at the university.
I became interested after becoming acquainted with some Russian-speak ing people; after getting involved I am dissatisfied with my low proficiency. Also I study languages as a hobby and I am also a volunteer English (ESL) tutuor.
I most need conversation practice and need review and reinforcement of the rules of grammar I learned in class; also need to expand my vocabulary.
I can devote a few hours per week.
In a teacher, I would want someone who knows common usage and idioms in addition to proper speech and rules of grammar; someone who is comfortable to converse with and someone who has teaching skills.
