I am learning the above languages for my personal and professional growth. I am currently in B2 level of German and have appeared JLPT Level 4 in December 2009. I intent to complete JLPT Level 3 by December 2010 and JLPT Level 2 by June 2011 as per the old JLPT standards. I also intent to complete German C2 level by December 2011.
My prime focus is on learning the languages in accordance with the colloquial usage rather than a grammatical approach that is taught at most places. I am more intent to learn it from Japanese and German natives.

Why you are learning your foreign language:
Spanish: - For career advancement and because this is my spouse's native language. I love the language and the culture.
Jap anese: For career advancement and because I am very interested in Japanese culture and history.
Y our proficiency level:
Spanish: - moderate to advanced. My vocabulary is advanced but my verbs are moderate.
Japanese: beginner. No previous experiance.

Spanish: verbs

How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons:
A couple of hours per week for each language. With additional homework and lesson time.
Spanish - I prefer private to start.
Japanese I can do small group or group classes.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher:
M ust have some experiance in teaching a second language. Must be flexible as I have a varying schedule. Must be organised and have material that I can take home and look at and work on.
