My proficiency level is beginner. The reason why I am learning Cantonese, and other such languages is because first of all I have interest in those languages. As a Cantonese individual, whom was born and raised in Canada, not knowing their own home language can sometimes be a burden. Therefore I want to strengthen my languages skills in order to communicate with others.
The other languages, such as Mandarin, Korean and Japanese are all for my interests, for example Mandarin is a good language to improve on, as it is a form of dialect of Chinese, and it's also good for me to learn for my job as a business-orie nted individual. As for Japanese and Korean, I have learned Japanese back in high school and would like to continue to pursue the language, and recently, I have been greatly interested by the Korean language as well and would like to pursue the language.
But as of now, the main language I would like to learn is Cantonese.

i like learning new languages, and the one language i want to learn right now is Korean, and hopefully i can also use it in the future, to socialize. I have learn other languages too, and i think i'm not a fast learner, but as long as i'm there to learn i'll put in effort. I've heard people speak Korean, and watch movies on it, but i believe i'm still a beginner at this language. I'm looking for a teacher that's honest, enthusiastic about their work, and is willing to teach any student.

Hi my name is carl :) thier is a few reason why i want to learn korean, but the main reason is because my soon to be wife is south korean she currently lives in south korea. i have been with her for a while now online and in person, she is so wonderful :) i want to learn korean so i can speak to her parents. and the other reasons are i really like the korean language it sounds very cool :), and a other reason is me and my soon to be wife plan to move up there to live in like 5 years :) so i will need to know how to speak and understand korean, my lvl of korean is not so good i study by myself some, and i speak with my fiance everyday lol so i pick up some words i probalby know hmm 100 words i know how to read hanguel and write i also know someother things but anyway my lvl is beginner :) what i need to improve on is everything :) i want to dedicate at least one hr of a tutor teaching me a week or 2 hrs. and do my own studies as well. qualities in a teacher i look for hmm just someone nice and warm :) funny maybe :P and paticent :) well i guess thats it ok then see you guys later
