I will be living in Jinan from October to July, teaching English at a local university.
One of the main reasons I have come to China is because I want to learn the language as I believe it will be a fantastic asset in my future career, and I want to meet a teacher who will be able to help me achieve a good level of Chinese.
M y proficiency is probably above beginner, but not much more. Although I know a fair number of characters, I am very unconfident in speaking and struggle to understand others or make myself understood.
I want to spend several hours a week with a teacher, on top of interacting with Chinese people in my town.
I am very determined to improve quite fast, even if I lack confidence in speaking. I am looking for a teacher who can give me that confidence and encouragement , and in return that teacher will see me improve rapidly.

I have studied Chinese Mandarin in my country University (Rome-Italy)f or 5 years, and got a degree.
now I'm in Guangzhou for an internship in the Italian Consulate.
I 'm particularly interested in improving spoken Chinese and also the vocabulary.
I could share the lesson with a friend who is about the same level as me, and we'd like to have one or two lesson in a week.(1-2 hours/week)
I would have no problem in communicating with the teacher in English but i'd prefer to speak Chinese during the lesson.
