My name is John and im a Korean American. I was born in the states and lived there my whole life. About a month ago, I received a job offer from SAMTAN and made a decision to move to Korea to start a new chapter in my life.
So why do I want to learn Indonesian?
I think its very important for me to learn Indonesian if I want to grow in this company. SAMTAN does alot of overseas business in Indonesia and eventually I would like to be working in international trade/sales. If I want to work in this field, i need to develop basic Indonesian conversationa l skills. The more fluent I get in Indonesian the better opportunity I have with this company. I'm a beginner with no previous studies in Indonesian. I know learning a new language can be difficult, but one positive outlook I have is that i heard Indonesian is very similar to English. So hopefully this will help speed up the learning process!

I have been assigned by my US COmpany to work in Paju for 1 - 2 years. I only know a few words in Korean. I would like to spend 1 hour a day or at least 4 hours a week learning the alphabet, grammer, and conversation. I am looking for a teacher who can help me learn as quickly as possible.
