My spouse, my 2 children and I are interested in a beginner's course in Italian. We are planning a family trip to Italy next September. We are interested in a conversationa l level of proficiency to enhance our travel experience. I am of Italian descent but know no formal Italian language. We could attend 1 class per week. I am an intermediate student of Spanish. I have finished 3 years of high school and 3 years of college-level Spanish.
I am heading to Nicaragua Jan 4th and would love to begin getting in the conversationa l mode, as I will be using it every day during my month-long internship with a local NGO. I would need a focus on conversation, especially tailored to working with community persons, store owners, crafts makers etc.
I would like to dedicate around 10 hours per week for the next 2.5 weeks.
