I am a native English speaker and an intermediate Spanish speaker. I need to learn more Spanish to pass the Texas Oral Proficiency Test in Spanish so I can teach bilingual classes. I need the most help in vocabulary development, including common idiomatic usage and vocabulary I will need when I am teaching. I also need to work on fluency. I will have the week of March 16-20 available full-time as well as most of June, July, and August full-time. I need someone who will spend time speaking with me and who will correct me when I make mistakes. I also need to write down the changes I make so I can remember what to practice on my own.

Hello,
I would be interested in attending a small Italian class in the Dallas area. My daughter lives in Italy and is getting married there this summer. I have been to Italy several times but I would be a beginner student. If I could find a good opportunity to start learning the basics I could build my vocabulary over time.
As to the qualities I would be looking for in a teacher. It would be great to find someone that had a nice outgoing personality and could make learning effective and fun. I do not know the best way to learn a language but it seems that some structure to the lessons would be important.
I would also be looking for classes that would be in the evening or on the weekend.

I am more than an absolute beginner, but need to learn more vocabulary and grammatical structure. I certainly need to focus as much as any of the rest on learning and conjugating more verbs, and knowing the past and future tenses. I also need to learn writing skills. I am interested in learning Italian for conversationa l purposes, but also to ideally be able to function in Italy in business situations.
