I am seeking to become fluent in arabic for use in career advancement either in my current job or another in the private sector. While serving in Iraq I learned simple commands and sentences and could piece more complex togethor but have no real understanding of the grammer. I am fleible in my schedule and would like to devote as much time a possi ble to learn as much as fast as i can. I have studied Arabic before but it has been years, so I would describe my level as beginner or second level beginner. There may be career opportunities for me eventually with Arabic language skills but I wish to learn Arabic at this time because I am interested in the language, culture, and history of the Middle East. I feel I need improvement in all areas, but primarily in conversation. I would like to dedicate one hour per week to my language lessons. I am looking for a qualified native speaker who can meet at times and locations that fit within my schedule.
