Hi, I spent 3 years working for a US company in Beijing and learned some of the spoken mandarin language including pinyin. I did not learn the written chinese characters. I would like to continue to practise my spoken mandarin and continue learning to speak more. I have a small vocabulary, and speak only simple sentences. If chinese people speak fast, I frequently cannot keep up. So, I hope to be able to go back to Beijing in the future and speak like a local.
My weakness is the pronunciation of the language. I have a hard time with some of the sounds. I would like to spend at least 3 hours a week on it. I have no particular requirements in the teacher there than the ability to teach chinese.

Hi, I want to learn Latin for a greater understanding of words that I often encounter in school, I believe it will help me with memorization of the terminology my teacher use in the science classes and I want to learn french just because I want to know the language. I am a beginner in both languages. I want to dedicate my summer time to learning both languages. I want a teacher that is very good at teaching a visual and kinetic learner, I am not the greatest audio learner.
