I am attempting to learn as much Portuguese as possible before my wedding in August, 2009. I eventually would like to be fluent. Also, my career requires me to be multilingual, therefore further language competency would be an asset to me. I primarily would like to be able to communicate orally, however it is important to me, as I said,to become completely fluent. I want to learn brazilian portuguese before I go to Brazil. I am going only for personal travel. I am a real beginner, but I do have knowledge in spanish. I could give 1 hours and a half per week for lessons. I am looking for a teacher who can teach me as much as possible in a short period of time, since I am leaving for Brazil in April.
