My name is A.H. and I'm currently home schooled by my mother so I have limitless time to dedicate toward my goal. I have always been interested in the Japanese culture. I wish to study Japanese in the hope that one day I may study there. I am a beginner, aside from words learned while reading/watch ing anime. I love learning languages but at this point my life I find a lot of interest in learning and speaking east asian languages. I speak basic Korean and I can read and write, I would just really like to practice my speaking and grammar. I haven't studied Japanese enough to read so my level is very low.
The thing is this.. It's been very hard to find somebody willing to spend enough time to teach because most people are busy and teach as a side. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible. For Japanese, I would say about 12 hours a week but it'd only be for a month and if I do well in understanding and seem to make progress pretty well then the time would be minimized. For Korean, I would spend as much time as possible as well, it's hard to say how many hours but in a week meeting 3/4days is good.
I would like my teacher to be confident and challenging. It'd be good to have a teacher who is willing to spend time as well.
Also, a teacher who can also be a friend would be great!
