I am interested in learning Hungarian because it is part of my heritage. My grandmother always spoke it when I was younger, but she hasn't been for the past few years because she has no one to speak it with. I want to learn at least some beginning conversationa l Hungarian so I can have a small conversation with her.
I am fluent in English and I have mid-proficien cy in French and Spanish. Unfortunately , I do not speak any Hungarian, so this would definitely just be an introduction for me.
I am an extremely patient person, and hopefully you are as well. Eventhough I am generally a fast learner, I become stuck on some concepts. I am also extremely dedicated and I don't become distracted very easily. One or two lessons per week would probably suffice. As for the number of lessons I would require, that is still to be determined.
My greatest hope is that I will be able to have a basic conversation with my grandmother. It would be such a wonderful surprise for her.

I travel regularly twice a month to Budapest on business and want to be ablem to converse in Hungarian.I am not interested in perfection nor the grammar.I want to follow conversations and respond.I am poor at languages so do not expect to find it easy.Main problem is pronouncing it correctly and I know very few words.
I am able to travel by car for private lessons.

I recently married and Hungarian and would like to learn his native tongue. I've been to Hungary a couple of times and only know a few phrases.
