I need a basic grounding in conversationa l Russian; I have one week available in person, right now, and am prepared to continue via internat after initial assesment. I am an absolute beginner,and have just developed a keen interst in the language. No doubt it will also help in my career advancment, but this is not a primay consideration . I graduated from university with a degree in Russian studies. I am currently studying abroad in Russia, but I would like to learn a second slavic language: Ukrainian. I can read and listen to Ukrainian and understand about 70%, however, I would like to focus on my speaking skills. I have a small vocabulary in Ukrainian and almost no knowledge of grammar, so I would like to focus on grammar, vocabulary development and, most importantly, speaking skills.
