Semi-beginner. I just returned from a 2 week language course in Moscow, and would like to continue my language classes. My work schedule changes a bit, but I'm usually home from work by around 4:00 PM. I know some verbs, but need to practice more. Looking to do this for 6+ months. Thank you for your time.

Hello,
I have been trying to teach myself Russian for a couple of years now, from text books, internet sites and a computer program. I have realised that I need to have direct interaction with a teacher to progress with learning Russian - not from lack of motivation, but due to understanding the dialect.
I can recognise many letters and words in Russian, but there are some letters that I have difficulty hearing a difference between - and the soft sign and hard sign still confuses me.
I have been able to learn some things from the text books, but I have found that once again I have trouble with trying to sound out the words. I have found the Rossetta Stone program to be very helpful, and have learnt some of the basics from it.
I want to be able to read Russian books, particularly about the culture and history. I also plan to visit the country late next year, and would like to have more than just the basic language skills behind me.

I studied Russian for 2 years in college. I will be traveling to Moscow in Mid-March for 8 weeks to improve my language skills. It has been 2 years since I was in college so I they have dropped off since then. I will be studying in one of the programs in Moscow, but I am also interested in taking some private lessons. I would also like to take some lessons before I head over to refresh my language skills. I wish to focus on learning to grammar and speaking.

I am interested in beginner to Intermediate Russian Language study. I have a very basic background from self study. I am looking for 1 hour of Live Online study and at least 1 hour of 'homework' to keep me practicing the skills. There is a possibility I may want to get my 11 year old daughter involved in the learning process as well.
