I am originally from La Ceiba, Honduras. I moved to the states as a child and spoke spanish until grade school. My family has always spoken in both spanish and english, but I always reply back with just english. I now work for a few non-profit organizations in the DFW area and would really like to be able to fully communicate in spanish. I work better in group environments, but I am willing to learn regardless of class size or setting. There is a possibility of another position opening with another non-profit based in Central America, so my need to become fluent is of the upmost importance! I look forward to the day when this short paragraph can be completed in Spanish.

I am trying to master spanish due to a pending move to Santiago, Chile.
I speak basic spanish.
I need improvement in reading, writting, grammer and conversation.
The time I dedicate would depend on my consultation with the teacher.

I want to be able to talk spanish when I travel to south america. I know some words, and verbs but Speaking is an issue. I will spend as much time as it takes to be proficient in being able to converse in spanish. I would like to find ateacher that is fluent and south american spanish is their first language.

The reason for wanting to learn Spanish is because I live in Florida and many people here speak Spanish, so I think it's important to learn it. It might also be helpful if I change careers.
