*Would like the lessons slowly and know basics. Conversation for me will be the hardest part as I am better with reading and writing. Vocab and helpful workbooks would be great as well. Probably an hour at most for one language lesson and then a bit of time in between lessons to practice and have things soak in.

Greetings.
My name is Paul Cummins and I am 46 years old. I would like to learn Mandarin because I wish to travel to China in mid to late February for business purposes. I am going there to identify suitable manufacturers to provide a product I wish to import to Australia in bulk. I believe it is important for me to learn the language firstly as a mark of respect to people whom will be a critical factor in my business and secondly because it will make my taskeasier while in China. In the longer term I beieve being able to speak Mandarin will be of great value for the development of future business opportunities . I am a total beginner with regard to proficiency. As I am self employed I have at least two full days per wek to dedicate to learning Mandarin. Thank you.
