I am a complete beginner,neve r having spoken any Arabic. I think it is a beautiful language and feel that it would help me to further various areas of my life. I am looking to learn to speak and eventually write.
I would be willing to spend an hour or two in tutoring a week. However, my budget (being a highschool student) is very low. In addition to Arabic lessons, I will also be taking other lessons, both related and unrelated to language.
I am looking for a very patient teacher with lots of experience.

I speak no Arabic but really would like to learn it. I have a few other languages under my belt and would like to think I am a fast learner, but I can imagine it is a tough language to learn! I have a pretty hectic schedule but would like to meet at least an hour or two a week if possible!

I have never studied Arabic before and don't even know how to say hello. I want to learn Arabic for 'career advancement' as I am currently an RN interested in international health care (I have spent the past 3 years working in Central America and am fluent in Spanish). I am planning to begin studying at UPenn for my Family Nurse Practioner degree this fall and hope to do some international work in Arab-speaking countries when finished.
I am currently planning in purchasing the Rosetta Stone in Arabic and partaking in self learning before beginning one-on-one classes. Once I am finished with the Rosetta Stone (November??) I hope to have classes at least twice a week.
I am looking for a teacher with patience for new students who is available in the evenings. I also prefer a female, although will be willing to have a male teacher if he is patient and professional.

I have great interest in the Arabic Language and thats why i want to be proficient in it. I am a Bsc student presently on vacations and can negotiate the time with the teacher. But i am looking for a teacher with great command on the language as it is not a very simple task to teach languages, specially difficult ones like Arabic. Also as i have no background at all, i will need hard work.
