I am a beginner. I have looked at Latin from time to time but am by no means any where near proficient. I want to learn the language for translation purposes and need to pass a language exam to get into graduate school. I would be able to meet once a week at this point, but my availability will most likely increase at the beginning of 2006. I am looking for someone who can meet during the weekends and teach me one-on-one, just focusing on translation.

I am looking for a local teacher who is proficiant in Latin. I am currantly taking medical terminology and of course it is all latin, but we are not learning every day speech. I have always been interested in learning latin since childhood. I went to a catholic school, but by the time i went to highschool, i was going to a public school and they did not offer latin. Also i have a great interest in learning italian and spanish. I beleave if i learn latin first it will help me greatly.

We have two children that have four years of Latin. The children are now in their sophmore and junior year of high school. We are looking for someone to provide instruction so when they return to US next year they are prepared to take AP Latin. We will provide the lesson plan that should be followed. It is anticipated that two to three hour of instruction per week will be required.
We are looking for someone that has either taught latin or has taken Latin course for several years.

I am extremely interested in roman literature, that is why I want to learn latin. I don't even know a word in latin but I am extremely interested and I will give it as much time it requires. I am currently in a law school and I feel that latin will help me in that aswell.

My daughter is a senior in high school. She has had Latin since 8th grade, and we wanted to take a Latin AP class this year but it wasn't offered at her school this year. I still want her to take the Latin AP test in May. However, I feel that she will need preparation for the test even though she has had the training in Latin for the last 5 years.
