Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a student at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and I have just completed a 6 month exchange program in Copenhagen, Denmark. I took an intensive Danish course there for 3 hours each day over a 3 week period before the start of semester, and I would like to continue learning the language back home in Brisbane if possible.
I have retained a very basic level of Danish -the course I took covered introductory topics such as general greetings, ordering food and numbers etc. If I am accepted into a teaching course, I would ideally like to further improve my conversationa l skills, in particular my pronounciatio n.
I hope to take Danish language courses as an extracurricul ar activity for a few hours a week. I am a dedicated student looking for (preferably) a group of other students to learn with, and an understanding teacher who enjoys sharing his/her knowledge. I look forward to joining a suitable teaching class.

I have always been passionate about Russia, since I was a child. I started learning Russian in high school and have been to Russia a few times. I have been studying Business and Law and have not prioritised learning a language. That is about to change.
