married to a chinese girl I seriously have to study

I would like to learn the Italian language as it is a language that I never really touched. The reason I would like to learn this language is because I will be moving to Italy for 3 to 6 months for business in Rome.
My communication with Italians will be extensive as I am to be a main point of contact between their company in Italy and forthcoming contacts in UAE (Arabic and/or Italian speaking).
My requirement, for now, is to build a foundation to learning this language so that I can pick up the basics during my stay there. My learning will continue through out the 3 or 6 month stay in Rome.
