I started studying German 2 months ago on my own, so I would say I am a beginner with a high motivation to learn. The reason why I am studying it is because I would like to move to Germany and having at least a basic level of German is important when applying for a job. I would like to dedicate around 5-8 hours of study per week and 2 hours with a teacher, in order to improve my conversationa l skills. I am looking for a dynamic teacher which would use innovative methods to help me remember difficult words or aspects of the grammar. Also, I think it is important to give a great amount of homework to make sure that the student works at home, so it is not only about attending the lessons.

I have taken an summer intensive course with the Goethe Institute the summer for a quick start to learn the basics of German. I am now looking to have regular one on one lessons for more grammar and making a start to conversation as I hope, by next year to move to Germany. If possible, I'd like to work up to an exam for entry into study at a German university.
