I am a beginner, I am willing to learn how to speak, read and write Arabic for the reason that in order to read the Quran i will have to read in arabic and i am willing to Travel to Arabic countries and learn about their culture more. Also my very very best friend who is like a family to me speaks arabic and i find it very hard to communicate with her family.
I want to dedicate most of my time in this lesson, but as i am a full time student and i go to college until 4pm, it has to be in the afternoon on week days.
The qualities am looking for in a lesson and the Teacher is someone that can speak very good arabic and can read and write in arabic.

I have taken modern standard Arabic (fusha) for one semester at the University of Leeds and for 6 weeks (intensive course) at the Lebanese American University in Beirut. I also lived in Beirut for five months and have therefore learnt some Lebanese dialect Arabic.
This is the area I would like to work on further - Levantine dialect Arabic (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine) for conversationa l purposes. However I would also like to work on my MSA reading skills with a view to being able to read Arab newspapers.
