I would like to learn greek because I am traveling there this summer. I also am dating a Greek who speaks it fluently and very often at home. I have tried to learn a little bit but I am a beginner. I would like to be able to have a conversation in Greek. I am not planning in becoming fluent in Greek but at least know the basics and understand it.

I am currently working on a translation of the sibylline oracle in the original greek. I'm having difficulty finding literal translations for some parts of the book. I've used many online aids as well as a dictionary but seemingly some of these words don't exist. I'm looking for someone to help me develop the skills to find meaning in these areas i cant find literal word for word translations.
