I plan on spending time abroad when I finish my degree, but unfortunately did not take advantage of classes through university to learn another language. My proficiency level with Spanish is that of a complete beginner. As such the areas that need improvement would be ALL, though I would like to focus on conversationa l learning.
I don't know how much time I want to dedicate, as I want to dedicate the amount of time required to develop and retain skills. A teacher who has a friendly demeanor and is patient with a slow starter would be ideal.

Hi my name is Rahchelle, I am looking for a French teacher as I would like to improve on the the basics of French that I currently understand.
My father is from Ils Maurice and I have many members of my family that i cannot fully communicate with, and its quite a disgrace that I don't speak the language!
My aim in learning the language would be to speak and write in French to the proficiency in which I do in English!
I would like a group learning experience, not a big group, perhaps two other students. I would be able to commit to one day a week for 2-3 hours.
Commi tment, organized, easy going and plenty of encouragement . These are the quality's that will help in achieving the results i seek.

I am learning German for personal reasons and to 'get in touch with my roots'. I was in level 2 beginner but had to withdraw due to work requirements. Currently I am studying on my own using Treffpunkt Deutsch Ed. 5 and other material but find that I need assistance with different aspects of the grammar and in actual conversation with another person to gain fluency and pronunciation .
I currently am studying throughout the week when I can and for three hours on Saturday.
The type of instructor that I'm looking for would be able to guide me on the proper methods of grammar and to be able to explain the different reasons as to why things are the way they are. I learn better if I understand the reason why something is the way it is. I'm definitely looking for live instruction as opposed to online. Location can be wherever is best for both of us.
