I am an absolute beginner, but i want to learn Urdu/Hindi becuase it is the langauge of much my family. I also feel that we live in a multi-cultura l society and this the best way to feel a part. Furthermore, i just would love to have a langauge, it is such a wonderful skill.
Areas i would particularly like to concentrate on are verbal communication .
I am happy to dedicate as much time as necessary, as i would love to become as proficient as possible in a year. However, i am only available 2-3 evenings per week.
In terms of qualities i am looking for in a langauge teacher, it is difficult to say. I think would have to meet the individual first, have few lessons, and assess it from there.

I'm a complete beginner to urdu and i wish to start tuition from now till the end of the year. I live in central london and looking to do 2 lessons a week of 1.5hrs. could you please advise me on whether you're available to teach, how much would you be charging and what sort of progress does a student expect to see on such a timetable.
