I am very interested in learning Tamil as a second language, as my partner is Tamil and i would really love to converse with his family and grandparents.
I am really a beginner, with no previous second language experience.

I am a beginner in the Tamil language. I know, briefly, everyday words because of family members who speak Tamil, however I would like to be able to speak Tamil in conversations with my family. I would like to dedicate one lesson per week to learn Tamil in a private lesson. I hope my teacher is patient and easy to communicate with, and also makes this class enjoyable as I am wanting to learn as an extra activity outside my University studies.

I have recently moved to Tamil Nadu and would like to learn the language. I am very much a beginner and wish to learn to communicate easily and effectively with people I interact with. I am able to dedicate a couple of nights a week to learning the language and, should I find a suitable teacher, I would also like to learn Hindi after I am proficient in Tamil.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher are patience, flexibility and commitment to my learning of Tamil.
