I am interested in learning Chinese Mandarin. I have taken some lessons before, but I am still very much a beginner.
I am seeking a tutor that has a strong grasp of Chinese pronunciation and grammar. An understanding of English language and culture in the USA is also good.
I would also like to learn to write in Chinese, but that is a bit difficult for now and I just want to learn basics first.

I have always had an interest in China from my school days. I did a history project and found the country amazing. I love the people, culture and food! I teach Chinese Kung Fu and I wanted a new challenge. This is a beautiful language.
I am a beginner, but I do know a few words and phrases. I am looking for one lesson a week, at lease an hour and maybe 2 hours, to start with and then more when I have the time.
I would like my teacher to be friendly and polite. I need to be pushed sometimes, but also encouraged. I do get annoyed with myself when I get things wrong.
