I want to learn Kurdish because I am interested in Kurdish culture and would like to eventually work in the Kurdish autonomous areas of northern Iraq. I have zero experience in Kurdish; however, I speak Hebrew as my second language, and can already read and write Arabic characters. I want to dedicate as much time as needed to increase my level of understanding . Finally, any teacher would be acceptable, I am not picky.

I lived and worked for a few years in the Sulemani province. I may return to continue my work and would like to improve my language skills. I am a beginner, I can talk in the bazaar and get around the city well but want to become conversant.

I can understand and speak arabic in almost 5 yrs.And i find it more interesting to learn at least basic kurdish language..the accent,and the writing..I wanted to try someday my luck to work in that country..

I am really interested in learning this language. It is one of the most difficult languages I have come across to learn other than Arabic. I have tried to find Kurdish teachers in Kitchener, Ontario but there does not seem to be any. I also would like to learn this language because my boyfriend is Kurdish. It makes it very difficult to communicate with some of his family because they do not speak English.
