I have a Maltese partner and would love to surprise her and learn the language so we can talk together and have fun in her native language.
I am a complete beginer and would love to become very proficient in speaking Maltese.
I need to learn to be rpoficient in all aspects of the language.
As much time as would be recommended so I can practice it regularly and become proficient enough to be confident and fluent when I chose to converse using maltese.
I am looking for it to be fun, enjoyable and as close to Maltese as possible, for example when learning some languages it is very literal and not relivant when actualy talking to people who have the language as their primary means of communication .
I love being in Malta and we visit every two years and I would feel more part of the community and embrace the country more if I can speak fluently in Maltese, I fell its also more respectful to the Maltese people to speak to them in their native tongue in there homeland.

I am looking to learn Maltese as my family originates from there although through the generations the language has been pretty much lost within the family.
I love Malta very much as a country and travel every year there for a summer holiday, however next year I would like to move there throughout the entire summer, and I am aware in terms of job prospects it is very useful if an applicant can speak both English AND Maltese.
I am currently only a beginner at the language, knowing only several common phrases but I am very keen to learn and will be very dedicated to the course.
Wi th time and patience I hope to become fluent in the language.
