Hello,
I'm 21 years old and have visited Brazil twice now. I only know a few phrases in Portuguese and would like to be able to speak it fluently. I plan on going to Brazil again around July of 2009 so if I could learn a lot of the language between now and then that would be best. I am set on learning it because it gets frusterating to always have to call on a translater to have a conversation. I learned some french in High School so I kind of have a grasp on how Portuguese is conjegated eventhough I've forgotten pretty much the entire language through lack of practice.

Portuguese was my first language as a child, then I started to learn english when I went to school. I have been slowly losing my tongue due to the fact that I don't speak it often.
I am probabaly a little more than a beginner I can read some I can speak and understand but do have some trouble. I want to dedicate as much time as I can... I don't want to lose speaking portuguese and I can see it slowly happening.

Hello.
I have recently fallen in love with the Portuguese culture and i would like to learn the language as well.
I have tried to learn the language with books but I feel like i need pesonal help from a tutor to learn and understand it better.
I also think speaking it is very important, so I would like to one day speak in fluently.
I am a very commited person and i like to finish anything I started.
The perfect instructor for me should be patient and flexible.Loca tion is very brutal too, I would like it if she/he lived very close to my city.

Hello My family was all born in Portugal. I will be going overseas to play basketball in portugal. I dont know any portuguese at all. I want to learn to talk to people in portugal and to talk to my family in portuguese. I am a beginnner so I need help in every area. I would like lessons 2 to 3 times a week. I want a professor that is going to give me quality lessons. I want a professor who is on time and precise.
