I am a beginner to the dutch language, and I would like to learn this language for travel and work in the Netherlands but also to celebrate my family's strong Dutch heritage. I am looking to learn basic - moderate dutch that will help me interact in the workplace and in public. At this time I could dedicate a few hours a week to in person lessons but more time via internet. I am looking for a teacher that will set me at a good pace as I would like to have a good handle in the next 12 months.

Hi Lilach,
It says you live in vancouver, but I read something about you being in Montreal. I live in Vancouver and would like hebrew lessons in person.
My speaking hebrew level is basic - mediate conversation, but I understand a lot. I can also read and write at a very basic level. My dad is from Israel, I'm an Israeli citizen and I lived there for over a year, that's how I picked up how to speak, read and write. However, I moved back 8 months ago and have forgotten a lot.
Id like to go back to Israel in May with very good understanding and speaking capabilities.

I live in an area that is populated with many Persians and I want to be able to speak with them in their language...al so there is this cute Persian woman I want to meet. I can take lessons on weekends only due to my work situation. I am not sure what qualities I am looking for in a teacher, I guess it is just a matter of matching the teacher to the student.

Soy universitario canadiense con ganas de afinar mi castellano por fines profesionales . En particular quiero desarrollar mas mi habilidad de hablar con espontaneodad y menos vacilacion. Tambien necesito mas entrenamiento en como escribir de manera correcta gramaticament e y precisa. Como soy estudiante de ciencias sanitarias me gustaria tener a un maestro que tenga el manejo de la terminologia medica bastante bien si sea posible pero esto no es requisito. Estoy dispuesto a dedicar al menos 3 horas al dia a los estudios por los meses del verano.
