My daughters are 6 and 14 years of age. They have been taking Chinese Mandarin classes, grammar and conversation, for a year at the University of Texas at El Paso. Both attend classes Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm. And have passed the entry level and the oldest one finished level one. I really want them to continue their studies in Chinese and I’m looking for a place in Bloomington. I would really appreciate any kind of advice I could get.

I am learning Chinese because it would be pretty amazing to be able to speak the language since most people usually take Spanish or French classes. I took a class for a week during summer school so I'm still a beginner. I would like to learn the language the best i can so how ever long it takes that's how long you will have me as a student. I would like for my tutor to be patient and very knowledgeable about what they are teaching.

I am interested in a variety of language because I plan to study abroad during my high school career. I have studied French for two years and have some experience with Sign Language because I work at a pediatric facility with children who only communicate through signs, but have yet to study Arabic or Chinese. I plan on dedicating the summer of 2011 to learning these languages, and I want to have atleast one lesson a week during the school year. I am looking for a patient, however extremely motivated and educated teacher.

Hi, my family would like to learn Mandarin Chinese. I travel to Beijing once or twice per year for business and my family would like to learn then take a trip to Beijing together. Kids are 7,8,11 and 12 and they are home schooled. We are a happy and fun family to work with and look forward to hearing from you! We are in the process of interviewing teachers who can help us.
