I have taken two semesters of Vietnamese and been to Vietnam twice since 2002. I am learning Vietnamese because I work with recent Vietnamese immigrants to help get them their high school diplomas. I am also very interested in the culture. I need particular help with pronunciation and conversation. I have learned the northern dialect mostly.
I would like to meet once or twice a week for two hours.

* I have a good grasp on pronouncing Vietnamese - but have a challenging time memorizing it. Be that as it may, I have yet to take a structured approach to learning Vietnamese.
* I am thinking of moving to Vietnam in 2 years and want to get a head start on becoming fluent.
* I would like to focus on conversation in conjunction with becoming literate.
* I'm thinking of dedicating one to three hours per week of training, and an additional three hours per week doing self study.
