My father passed away last year, he was born and raised in Bergen Norway. I have many family members who still live there, my fathers dying wish was for his ashes to be spread in the fjords back where he grew up. I have been communicating with family members in Norway but my aunt who was the closest to my father does not speak any english. My whole life I have strived to connect with this side of my family, I want more than anything to be able to speak the language it means more to me than I could ever put down in words. I plan on visiting Bergen next summer to spread my fathers ashes, I have been saving for the trip since he passed. I am looking for some instruction, I have been trying to teach my-self however I only know one norwegian speaking person whom I see rarely. Please help me, Ruby Gjerde

I am looking for someone to teach me Norwegian. I need to learn the language well so that I can work in Norway. I am a complete beginner. I would like to become fluent in this language and have a few hours a week to devote to learning it. I would like a teacher who can help me with the proper pronunciation s as I am finding that to be the most difficult aspect of the language. I would also like to be able to read and write it so the I may attend the universities there if needed.

I want to move to Norway in June/Septembe r so I need to practise the language very hard. I already did 300 hours of grammatic and have good vocalabury. What I missing is conversation. I will require native Norwegian speaker (bokmal) with responsibilit y and attitude + patience:)) I want use Skype for 30-40 mins lessons.
