Hello,
My partner and myself are wanting to learn russian as we are to move over there at the end of the year. I have no knowledge of this language at all but my partner is russian, he came over here when he was younge - but his parents only spoke english to him - he knows a bit of the basics but we will both like to learn from the begining. Mainly conversation we would like to learn. We would like the lessons to be approximatly a hour long and if possible twice a week, if not we will be happy for one lesson also we would like the course to go until we have a good understanding of the language. We would like our teacher to be patient with us but also have a passion for teaching the language - as we feel this helps to learn, also a back ground in the culture would be great.

I would like to learn German as I have an Austrian friend who I will soon be visiting. I have not yet started to learn German as I have found no teachers close to where I live. I find language very interesting and one day I hope to learn to speak other languages such as French. I would like to work on all areas of the language so I can gain a broad knowledge of German. I will be going to Austria in July of 2010 and I accept the fact that it would not be possible for me to learn a lot in this short time, but I really would love to have more of an idea of the language.
