I've been studying Korean independently for about a year now. I've been just learning randomly as I go, common phrases, greetings, a few verbs, sentence structure, alphabet, etc. I'm studying Korean with the hopes to one day be certified to teach it, or possibly teach English to students in Korea, although if I don't make it that far it's ok because I plan to teach French regarless :)I need overall improvement and structured lessons. I'd prefer to meet twice a week, with a lot of homework in between. I'm looking for a native Korean, preferably female, who is friendly, patient, and challenges me to learn quickly. I have no background at all on the Korean Language. Thus, my proficiency level is beginner. I want to learn Korean simply because I want to learn the language and I find it very interesting.
The amount of time I plan to spend on learning Korean per week would be two to three hours, preferably on Saturdays.
I hope that my teacher would be patient with me as well as be knowledgeable in the Korean culture and in how to teach langauge to adults.

I'm hardly a beginner at the Korean language. All I know are basic phrases. I need help in all areas of the language. I can read the language, but I read it fairly slowly. I'm learning Korean because a lot of my family is in Korea and I'd love to be able to keep in touch with them. I'm looking for classes that are around an hour and a half to two hours.
