I am a beginner in Portuguese. I don't know all that much, only some expressions. I want to learn more because I have a friend in Brasil whom I recently went to visit and I plan on visiting again for months at a time. I want to learn how to have a proper conversation and I want to be able to understand others who are speaking to me. I am able to dedicate a few hours each week to reach this goal. I want someone who can answer my questions easily, someone who understands how difficult it is to teach a language to someone and someone who takes the care and time to actually teach me what I need/want to know.

I choose to learn potuguese because I have always been interested in Brazil and its culture. I am a travel agent just strating off in this career field,and learning this language would benefit me and satisfy me. I someday would like to even possibly live there.

I am a beginner adult looking to explore my heritage further. I would like to do a one day/week of an hour or two of classes. I took extensive spanish in high school... Successful up to grade 13, but It was a while ago. I would like to find a place that is good at what they do, is FLEXIBLE, as I work full-time, and has a friendly atmosphere.

I am a total beginner in speaking Portuguese, but I can understand most of what I read and some of what I hear. I've never taken a lesson in Portuguese. My native language is English but I now speak Spanish at home (fluently). I would like to learn to speak and understand conversationa l Brazilian portuguese because I work with immigrants from Brazil. I think a few lessons in grammar and pronunciation would really help me. I would like to dedicate one hour per week to lessons, but could spend a little more time on homework. My objective is to get the most for my time investment, as I don't have much time! I will be leaving Vancouver at the end of July.
