I am interested in learning Russian partly for business reasons but mostly out of personal interest. I may have the opportunity to work in Russia next year. By profession I am a scientist.
My proficiency level is beginner, although, many years ago at university, I took first and second year Russian.
I am interested in an all-round approach to learning a language--rea ding, grammar and conversation.
As I am a professional consultant, I do not work full-time if I choose not to, and this year I am planning to take most of the summer off work, that is, April to September.
With the right tutor, I intend to devote significant time to learning over the summer. I am looking for a teacher who enjoys teaching.

I am looking to learn Arabic to enhance my ability to progress within my workplace, and for travelling and learning more about the culture. I am an absolute beginner. I would like to do one-two lessons per week, perferrably in person, but would be open to distance as well. I am looking for a teacher whom is flexible, patient, and enthusiastic.

I have always wanted to learn Arabic. I think it would be very useful for the career I want to pursue in working in Northern Africa and the Middle East. I have many arabic friends and would love to learn to converse with them.
I have no previous knowledge aside from a few words.
I would like to take lesson all summer...but I would leave it up to the teacher to let me know how much time I should spend learning it.
I would like my teacher to be intelligent, personable, patient and considerate.
