I have no knowledge of Portuguese at all, and I would like to learn some basics to get me started. My interest in learning Portuguese is business-rela ted, so learning business terminology will eventually be a priority for me. I am writing in regards to learning the Portuguese language. My proficiency is at a beginner level. I want to have the ability to speak, read and write Portuguese fluently without having to think in English first. I am very serious and dedicated to learning Portuguese. I would like to dedicate 2 classes a week to Portuguese.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher are patience, fluency in the language and the ability to teach conversationa l Portuguese.

I would like to continue my education in French though will also learn others if there are no French courses available.
--Level: Intermediate.
--Particu larly need help with sentence structure and conversationa l skills (French).
--I have always had an interest in the French language (as well as others) and would like to follow through on a promise to myself to become fluent. I am mostly self-taught so I've never had anyone to speak/practic e with. It is a long-term goal of mine to become fluent in several other languages as well.
--Wo uld like to spend 2-3 hours per week after work (after 7:30 pm) with additional hours during selected weeks. I plan to spend many hours on home study during the course enrollment.
--I am looking for an intimate small-class setting.
