I am interested in learning Arabic and Chinese. I am currently taking classes in Spanish through college. My german is enough to get around the country and was my first language but have forgotten it since living in the US. I am wanting to learn more languages because they interest me, possibly teach my daughter, so we can travel to different areas, and also career advancement. I have a difficulties in speaking languages for the fear of being incorrect. I am looking for a teacher that can help me in all aspects of the Arabic and Chinese language.

I am a beginner with three years formal education in Arabic language (MSA and Egyptian Colloquial) and one 3-month immersion trip to an Arabic-speaki ng country (Levant Colloquial).
I need help with Levant colloquial and especially with speaking and with building my vocabulary. I have better facility in writing and reading than in speaking.

I speak no Arabic, but I wish to learn. I have a BS degree in electrical engineering and a BS in cardiopulmona ry science. This is just a personal desire and not for any career goal. I have a few hours a week I can devote to this, but I have a full-time career and a family that also vie for my time.
