My Grilfriend is finnish and has been in Ireland since 2000 but recently moved back home due to the recession here in Ireland and does not plan to come back here soon. I will eventually have to make the move but because the current economic situation arrived without warning, supposedly, i am forced now to learn the language if i am to gain employment in Finland! I have picked up bits and pieces over the last year or 2 but now i need to take it to the next level! I have to learn it proper!!! Its a tough language to learn because of the different alphabet but i do understand that its prodominantly phonetic! I really need help in this area!
If you could help me it would be great! Be it get lessons of you or maybe you know someone in the galway area that could help me! Even conversationa l finnish. Its the pronounciatio n im worried about. Hope you can help, Derek
