I left Hungary as a young child and have lived in the UK and Australia ever since. I do understand a great deal of Hungarian but can not converse. I am planning to visit my father who has since returned to Hungary next year and wish to be able to freely converse in Hungarian.

I am eager to learn Dutch as I have travel and work plans for Belgium etc in 2010. I speak no dutch at the moment and am interested in learning conversation and written dutch. I am willing to negotiate lesson frequency according to what is recommended to me by the teacher. I am looking for someone easygoing but who enjoys to teach...proba bly patience would be a good thing too!!!i want the lessons to progress at a rate i can keep up with, i guess a tailored approach would be best.
