I have just received a Master's Degree in Public and International Affairs, and have always regretted not knowing another language. Hello. I am a self-taught Arabic language student.
I have studied as many materials that I could over the past year and a half including books, dictionaries, CD and audio cassette programs and workbooks.
I would like to become fluent in Arabic, specifically Egyptian, Moroccan and Gulf Arabic dialects. I am planning to travel to Egypt and Morocco in the next two to three years and would like to achieve great proficiency.
I am a fast and dedicated learner and currently spend one to two hours a day (as time allows) to learn and improve on the limited skills I have which include reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation , conversation. All of these areas I would like to improve on and any other skills that I could be taught.

I know very basic phrases in Arabic. I need to obtain Arabic basic proficiency very quickly and am ready to learn. I would also like to eventually become fluent in Arabic thus continuing my language studies for years to come. Standard Arabic is necessary but Quranic Arabic is also an interest. I would be willing to dedicate as much time as I can afford financially over the next 6 months and then as needed to improve my proficiency thereafter.

Hi I wish to learn Arabic for beginers, I don't no how to read it at all, the reason I want to learn this is due to my religion being Islam, I am very much interested to read the classical arabic texts and learn the meaning of our holy book the Qur`an.
I' m usually free from Sundays to Wednesday all day so I think learning for 3-5 hours a day would be idle.
