Beginner but not total beginner.
I am living in France and need french to communicate more efficiently. my children are being schooled in french and i have little time to catch up in order to be of help to them later in their school life.
conver sation, grammar and later reading skills are what i require.

Hello, we (myself and partner) are both retired and are spending around 8 weeks in Les Issambres near Frejus, next March and April 2010 - a long way ahead I know, but we are planning early !!! During that time we would like some tuition in French, either privately or possibly within a small group if one is running. The timing is flexible. We are of elementary language proficiency and would like to improve particularly our conversationa l abilities.

I am a law student from the University of Warwick in England. As part of my course I'm spending my third year in Lille. However, after being here for 3 weeks I've realised my French is awful. I got a B in ALevel French, but my actual French does not reflect this. I am struggling to understand a single thing in lectures and anything at all on a daily basis from simply buying food to the more complicated process of opening a bank account.
I need lots of help. I want to have lessons for as long as it takes to understand lectures otherwise I will fail.
