I know some.I have studied german for a long time on my own.I can't have a conversation in german,I am not building on to what I know.So I am looking to find a way to learn german so I can have a conversation in german.I want to learn german for my self and I had grandparents that talked the language.I need improvement in grammer and conversation. I am a beginner in the German language and am trying to get ahead this summer before taking college German courses this fall. I am serious regarding learning the German language because I am planning to focus on European history and need to become proficient in the language. This summer the lessons need to be reasonably intensive and I need someone who can teach me more formal German as I am not doing this for tourist purposes. I would very much like to start within the next couple of weeks. I have transportatio n so I can travel to the lessons although I would like to talk to the instructor about possible alternatives.
