I am learning Urdu for work purposes. I have attended a 20 hour beginners Urdu language course at SOAS. As of 4th January I would like to do lessons of 1hr 30 mins three times a week in the morning for two months. I am particularly interested in developing speaking as I will also look to start learning some Hindi in the future. I can read and write Urdu script. I have followed the Teach Yourself Urdu series and would be happy to continue following that, but am open to other methods of learning. Ideally any teacher would be able to demonstrate experience / qualification s before we started lessons.

I am a complete beginner.
As I am starting from scratch everything is new to me. I would be interested in greetings and common phrases. Urdu alphabet is totally new to me. I have very little free time. The teacher would need have good English and lots of patience!
