I have recently become very involved with a particular group of Tibetans from a monastery in India and have started to learn some of their language.
I am hoping to continue my involvement with these people helping them arrange tours etc in Canada, as well as starting up non-profit organisations aimed at further assisting the refugees in the monastery.
While communication up until now has been done in person and through a translator travelling with the Tibetans I feel my proficieny in their language will help me immensely now that contact will be made mainly over the phone and via written communication such as email and letters.
A ny help I can get with learning this language would be greatly appreciated.
I will specify the dialect further however, if it helps I believe they understand and speak Lhasa dialect. There is a more specific name for the region the particular ones I would be communicating with are from.
I will add that info in as I am able to obtain the correct spelling of it in English.
R ight now I am at a very beginner level of learning this language but am VERY eager to continue as soon as possible.

I am able to have basic conversations in Cantonese.
I enjoy learning new languages. I especially enjoy speaking chinese, I enjoy the challenges that come with learning it.
Right now I have trouble constructing setences . I mostly need help with grammer, also my vocabulary is quite limited.
I need instruction with handwriting.
I would like to dedicate as much spare time as I have, unfortunately that is limited.
My timetable is everchanging, short notice arragements would be most convienent for me.
I am looking for an instructor that can help me learn something new after every lesson.

beginner, I want to learn Arabic because it will become easier for me to translate ayahs from the quran. Areas which i need improvement in are grammar, conversation, sentence structure, writing, reading. I want to dedicate 1 hour to arabic lessons because school is almost starting i don't have that much time. I can read and write in Ukrainian, but I don't understand it. My conversation skills are extremely basic and limited. My reason for learning the language is that I was brought up in a Ukrainian family that rarely spoke the language, but I've always had a strong desire to learn. I hope to travel to Ukraine in the future too. My goal is to be able to carry on conversations in Ukrainian at an intermediate level with ease and to be able to have a good understanding of someone speaking Ukrainian. I would like to meet with my tutor twice a week with intensive training and I am interested in getting a University level teacher. I want a teacher that will teach me casually but will jump in and correct my mistakes. I would prefer a talkative teacher so that I can absorb as much Ukrainian as possible. My teacher should have lessons for me to work on between our meetings, like perhaps a list of verbs to focus on and basic Ukrainian reading material.
