- I'm learing Japanese for fun, it started out years ago but there was no time. I finally got around to properly studying Japanese as part of my minor for the last three years.
- I believe I finished beginner level and am ready to start intermediate
- I need improvement in speaking, grammar, reading, listening, writing (for kanji mainly). So all areas
- I want to meet up with a teacher at least twice a week, and next to that quite a few hours for assignments/h omework/homest udy, without supervision
- I prefer the lessons to be conprehensive and the teacher not to be too lenient.

One goal of my live is learning Japanese to a certain degree. That is why I thought I might just start when I am still in an age in which my brain can absorb a lot.
I already speak more or less 5 other languages and I think that in todays world of globalisation knowing a lot of languages is key for career and life in general.
I study hospitality management which also is an area in which a wide range of languages can be very helpful.
My primary concern is to be able to speak the language and create my own sentences beside the standard phrases. I would like to be able to understand the patterns, if there are any.
My plan is, to spend one session weekly since I am studying and engaged in two different types of sport as well.

Hello,
I am looking for a Japanese native speaker to practice Japanese conversation and reading practice with. I lived in Japan for 12 years and have an advanced level of Japanese. I have passed 2kyuu of the Japanese Proficiency Exam (Nihongo Noryoku Shiken). Kanji/Reading is my weak point. I am concerned that I will lose my Japanese skills while living in the Netherlands and want to keep it up. For future career purposes, I would also like to refine my skills and improve reading ability. I work full time in Wassenaar. I would like to dedicate about 2 hours a week for Japanese lessons. I need a teacher who can motivate me to be interested in Kanji, because I have never enjoyed kanji study and find myself frustrated. I would like to also practice speaking more honorific (keigo) speech patterns.

I speak fluently English and Dutch and would like to start studying Japanese. The reason of my interest is that I watch often anime and would like to be able to understand it without reading the subtitles. I am a complete beginner when Japanese is concerned, but I am ready to invest 1 to 2 hours per week in order to learn it.
