I am a beggnner at Spanish and am eager to learn it as i have an interest in the Spanish culture and i plan to work abroad in my Gap Year which requires me to speak some Spanish. I am learning some Spanish at school but it is very very basic and i feel i need more of a challenge than i am getting there and i would love to be able to speak as much Spanish as possible.I am willing to give up around two hours a week for Spanish lessons.I am looking for someone who will teach me Spanish in a fun way but also i am looking to learn at the same time.

Hello, My name is Linda Christie, I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. I have been given a fabulous oppertunity to travel to Hong Kong next January (2006) for 6 weeks to do my elective in the Princess Margaret Hospital. I am very keen to learn some Cantonese before i go, i would initially like one lesson a week (with some practice work) and then move up to 2 or 3 lessons a week for a couple of months before I leave. I am a complete beginner but very dedicated to learning as much as I can in the year I have.
